Lots of foreign coins - what to do?
« on: April 20, 2007, 12:03:56 PM »
Is there anywhere I can bring 50 or so foreign coins (such as krona, spanish euros)?  Not keen to bring them back to the U.S., if we can help it.

Thanks!

I remember at Dublin airport there was a collection box for foreign coins...all proceeds to go to charity.  Perhaps there's something similar near where  you are?
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

There are several charities that accept them, but I'm not sure which ones.

I took all my foreign coins and glued them around the edges of a picture frame. It ended up looking really cool.  :D
