Well, I finally got my tickets!!!! yeeehaaaa!!! Sadly not at any of the great prices I've seen on line...booo hoooo!!
However, I came across a travel agents in my town who allow customers to book and pay whatever you have available and then pay the rest off later. It's not a credit agreement, there are no extra charges....they just simply have an arrangement with their providers who allow their customers to pay this way. Of course I was a little concerned that perhaps I'd been diddled....so me being me checked on line when I got home and they were the same price as everyone else. I did call into a few travel agents and they all said that because they were scheduled flights that they had to be paid in full - I
have found an agent that doesn't require full immediate payment.
So, if there's anybody who lives in or close to Wakefield and you want flights but don't have the cash all in one go and you're worried that you might not get them if you keep leaving it (like me) then go to Asian Pacific. They're a 2 min walk from the bus station....extremely friendly and very helpful.....I will definately be going back to Asian Pacific for my next adventure!!!!
I'M OFF TO ATLANTA IN 15 WEEKS.....WOOOO HOOOO. How happy am I??
