What, if you don't mind my asking, happened to your sister? Always remember that time heals all wounds. You're in the grieving stage right now, but as time passes, you'll still miss her but remember the good times, too. A boyfriend of mine died in a car crash running an errand for me, and I still feel guilt about it, but I know he wouldn't want me to. Again, please keep in mind that you're going to go through stages until it's resolved in your mind. You're in my thoughts. Take care.

I don't mind. I think I've kinda desensitized myself to explaining what happened...it's only when I talk about her and get into details that I get upset. Um....She was killed in a car accident. She let her friend drive our car...he was legally drunk and they found pot in his system. He shouldnt have even been able to walk so that's our biggest question in our head...why would she let him drive?...she always promised me she'd never drink and drive so I'll never understand why she let him drive. All we can do is assume...

Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.

Update:

It was finally put in a few days ago. I thought I'd show you 2 pictures I took today with my cell phone camera.

It looks lovely. What do the characters on the side say?

"Courage and healing" that was her first tattoo on her forearm.

Yeah seeing as she was a tattoo/peircing person. plus the meaning of that tattoo was huge to her and now is to us so im sure she'd love it.

Reeka, this is your first-year anniversary. That's the most painful of all. But as I've said before, you'll always love your sister, and the sharp pain you feel now will turn into a dull ache as time goes by. Not because you loved her less, but because time does at least partially heal all wounds.

Reeka, I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't know you and didn't know her but I have two sisters and the thought of losing them breaks my heart. I love the headstone and that picture of her is beautiful.
