Honestly, I don't think it's all that likely that you will have been denied a student visa. I've just read an online article about how the UK is trying to encourage more international students to study here and therefore UK student visas are easier to get than they used to be. Apparently, the UK is now the easiest country to study in, in terms of getting visas.
Unless they think you are going to abuse your visa rights or are a threat to the country, I doubt they'll reject your application.
A couple of years ago, we had an entire class of English students from Kenyon College come to study at Exeter University for a year - there are about 30 of them plus 2 Kenyon professors and they didn't seem to have any trouble getting visas at all.
