No not our resident one here either ;) The tasty   little marshmallows ones  you get at Easter in the states.

I cant remember them being there when we lived in the UK the last time ??? Are they there now?

I haven't seen any either yet.  :(

My mom had sent some a couple years ago and I will never forget the precious moment of when the husband tried his first one.   [smiley=stunned.gif] [smiley=confused.gif] To say he didn't really enjoy them is a bit of an understatement.  [smiley=laugh.gif] More for me!  :D

My husband finds them to be vile things as well.  I just think they look cute but one bite does me in usually.

This thread made me chuckle because my Mom sends me Peeps for every season! I get some for Easter (chicks) and some for Christmas (xmas trees and snowmen ) hehe

Pure sugar and I can only eat one! I find they are better if left out for a few days- isn't that gross? hehe My husband thinks they are weird, but also will finish them up "So we don't have to throw them away"  ;)

Jennydee-
I leave them out as well.  I love that chewy consistency they get when they are stale.

I also miss reese's peanut butter cups shaped like eggs.  I can get the normal cups but the eggs have the motherload of peanut butter in them.

Well, at least you can get cadbury creme eggs for most of the year here, even if we have to go without the other things

I miss the other flavors of eggs like the cadbury carmel eggs you can get in the states.

If you are hankering for a caramel egg, Rolo's got their caramel version...not bad.  With all the eggs in the shops (and wouldn't I work at one and have to look at them all the time), my favorite is fast becoming the creme Nestles egg.....mmmmmm, delightful and somewhat 'light' compared to the others.

Oh, that Nestle's Double Cream egg is lovely!  You're right, it's a lot lighter than the other eggs out there.

Bless her, my mother had a large bag of the Cadbury Mini eggs for me when I went back last weekend.  She'd forgotten I'd been so happy at the fact that I can get them YEAR ROUND here!   ;)

Once, in a moment of sadness, i ate 3 sleeves of peeps (total 12) and didn't sleep all night.

That did wonders for me......I love the things though.

My colleagues are SO excited about me being able to buy mini eggs year round.  They're going to ship me stuff, and i'm going to be shipping them those!

I'm just excited to be near my pink shrimp candies and the long bananna candies, the soft ones.  Be still my beating heart.

I talk about the sweets i can't wait to be near a lot....but i really can't wait to be near my sweetie all the time!  that will rock!  :-*
