this is a long shot... but has anyone ever applied for a same day visa (in my particular case business, 1 year, multiple entry) at the chinese embassay in london? some sites say they'll only give same day to people travelling that day or the next day. some sites don't mention this...
(travelling to China 12-may but need passport 5-7)
