Thanks everyone!  Obviously it's very exciting.  The clencher is that my parents don't know yet!  We're flying to the US a week Tuesday, so they will find out very shortly.  A bit scary :D.

As a side, don't suppose anyone knows of a place that does all-inclusive weddings in the London/South-East area?  I'm talk ALL inclusive...ceremony, reception, catering, the works.  Google is proving worthless!

I would hire an event planner/wedding planner - they'd be able to deal with it all.

Congratulations on your engagement! One of my friends is in the early stages of planning a wedding in London, and we thought this website was very interesting: Unique Venues of London. The search is already narrowed to venues that do weddings with the reception.  :)

Thanks for that!  It definitely looks interesting & worth a closer look.

Congrats! I would also recommend hiring a wedding planner. I know it's a bit less common in the UK than in the states (although maybe not in London). We hired one for our wedding and it was hands down the best decision we made. We had a small wedding, but it was still totally worth the expense.
Wed at last on April 20th!
