Paris Hilton gets 45 days in jail

I can't imagine asking Paris Hilton for her autograph (or anyone else, for that matter). But her in particular...

If she does have to serve the whole sentence, I don't see her learning a damn thing from this. This girl was obviously brought up her whole life never having to work or ask for anything. And apparently with the show put on by her parents at the hearing she has never had to take responsibility for any of her own actions, either.

I think her 15 minutes has expired.

Me either.  She'll probably try to shop around a made-for-tv movie about how she was wronged and mistreated by the system.

Yankee, that's what my husband said. She'd either make a TV show about it or have a book ghostwritten for her.

When the next election happens, the judge should run on a platform of "The guy who put Paris Hilton in Jail". There will be a huge landslide... 99.4% of the vote.

I love that in her book that "she wrote" she gives the following advice: "Tell people what they want to hear and then do whatever you want."

I would have done exactly what the judge did. Her apologies were only sincere to the extent that she hoped they would get her out of jail time. She isn't sorry and probably doesn't even realized exactly why she's in so much trouble.

I hope she spends every minute she's supposed to behind bars. Not that it will teach her anything but she deserves it.

I didn't read it either, but there's not much to read. The whole books is apparently almost all pictures of herself and friends. Mostly of herself though. I saw the quote from her on an E! show and I thought "now THAT explains a LOT!" 

I hope she doesn't get any special treatment and is put in with the rest of the inmates.

She has posted/started a petition to Arnie the Governator to pardon her and spare her the jail sentence, asking her *fans* to sign it.
