Yeah, we were surprised too. We just weren't aware as much as we should have been early on. It's worse that they even tried to white out the number once they realised the mistake! (we got a hold of a copy from the lab, compared it and saw that they had done this!!!). We were thinking that this is maybe why they threw the original away (even more wicked....).
We were originally made to feel like we were making a big deal out of nothing until our vet called DEFRA and the animal health office in the UK and saw how serious our problem was. Then, they were all apologetic and helped us fix the problem (ie, re-doing the blood test for free). In the end they helped us a lot and everything was ok, but it could have turned out very different had we not noticed and arrived at customs!!!
Believe me, we are glad that we are all together now!
