Going to America - anyone want anything?
« on: May 12, 2007, 02:57:27 PM »
I'm flying home for a couple of weeks next Wednesday (week one: road trip to NOLA with my girls, week two: family time) and, as per usual, I'm planning to mail myself a big box of things I can't live without (Near East rice pilaf, Reese's Pieces, etc.).  If there's something you've been dying to get your hands on, let me know - I'll see if I can pick it up for you!  ;D

If you don't have to hunt too hard for it, could you pick me up a box of Spike seasoning?  (A bottle is fine, if they don't have the boxes.)  I can send you some money now, if you like!

I'll do my best to find it! :)  I'll let you know if I'm successful once I get back.

I'd love to have a couple boxes of cornbread mix, packs of good seasons italian dressing :) If you could pick them up that would be great! My daughter went back last month and came back saying she didn't have room in her suitcase! :(
email  if you like. Thanks!
Linda

Jiffy cornbread mix? I can definitely do that. :)  And the Good Seasons dressing packs as well, as long as I can find them. :)  PM me your address and I'll send them off as soon as my box arrives (probably the second week of June?)....

Ooo!!! That's a great idea!!! I never thought about bringing those back!

Meg, I'm going in July, so if the requests sent to you are just too overwhelming, I'm happy to pick up some of the slack! Just shoot me a PM if need be.

btw - your new haircut looks great and congrats on finally having a working shower again!  ;D

Anyone else?  I'm leaving tomorrow but probably not shopping for things to mail back until around Memorial Day weekend, so if y'all think of anything, PM me with the details before, say, next Thursday and I'll do my best! :)

If possible dry onion soup mix and some dry hidden valley ranch packets?  I would ask my mom, but since they cancelled the slow mail, she will never send me anything ever again.
