can anyone recommend some decent providers of life insurance? DH & i are in the market for two basic policies. i've got a quote from norwich union, but i'd like to be able to compare a few more before we buy.

Hi Niku2

When I setup my mortgage I had a little shop around and then I just bought a policy from my insurance broker from 'CIS' - Co-Operative Insurance Services' (i think thats what it stands for) as they do 'everything' under one roof so to speak. I pay £10.01 a month for Life Assurance.

Nip on over to www.moneysavingexpert.com and have a look through the Insurance section and call up any recommended places etc. I don't know if there's any 'new' benefits between providers as such as it's been almost 5 years since setting meself up - but I'm sure you'll get alot of info from that site and of course which will fit in with your own personal/financial scenario.

Good luck!
