As voyeuristic and puerile BB is, there's something of a fantastic expose of the human psyche going on as well - the best of both worlds!
Did anyone see the explanation of how the housemates become institutionalized? Really interesting stuff. Explains why the half-way housemates were/are a bit shunned by the rest of the gang.
I really liked Gerry - he was fabulous . . . now I don't know who to like.
Carole: omg, does she EVER stop with the controlling-mother bit? Why doesn't anyone just tell her to shove off?? When she starts on someone about the right way to do something it sets my teeth on edge.
Ziggy: really trying to play the game but very transparent. He tries to convince the public that he's having these heart-wrenching dilemmas but i'm not buying it.
Liam: eh - his behaviour regarding Amy was pretty low-class. She definitely had a plan but that doesn't make it ok for him to treat her like he did.
the twins: Did anyone notice that the
first and only time the twins were put up for nomination was
the very night Sam got all canoodly with Brian and then, when eviction night was over, just played giggly and non-committal???
Brian: He seems like a really nice lad who would, if given £100K, be very quickly parted with it in a variety of unseemly ways. He's quite genuine, though - which seems a bit unfortunate in a way.
Tracey: I think she might actually be evicted this week. She seemed to peak a few weeks ago but then got really unpleasant. Someone smuggle her in some tobacco and a couple of E's.
Jonty: ick.
Kara-Louise: Plucking armpit hairs is not a form of self-abasement I'm familiar with, but, really, that seems like her only drawback.
So, out of all the lot I'd probably go for Brian.
I am really enjoying this year, though. "Oh my god, Big Brother, we're psychopathetic!" had me laughing for days!
Pebbles & Courtney: hi!
Thanks for the wb!
