I haven't seem much of her cooking shows but I have to say I found her accent a bit much - no offense to people with southern accents at all (I had a Nawlin's accent at one time myself Maybe it was because I hadn't been back to the US for some time, I was finding all the American accents harsh!

I'll have to look at her recipes, though. There's nothing wrong with a bit of indulgence!!

My husband met her at a foodie convention in Chicago a few years back.  He says she's just about the nicest person you'll ever meet.  He didn't have quite so many nice things to say about some of her peers!
