Hairspray the Movie

I'm not originally from Baltimore, but I lived there for 8 years before moving to England. Started out in Carney for one year, moved to Fell's Point for a year, then bought my house next to Patterson Park.

Speaking of John Water's, his movie "Pink Flamingos" made Channel 4's list of 50 films you must see before you die. I haven't seen this one....but oh my! The very last scene is Divine eating dog poo off the street! 

I actually grew up in Carney (just over the beltway from Parkville) on Old Harford Road.  We must have lived very near each other although maybe not at the same time!

I'm afraid I haven't seen all the old John Watters movies although I'm always thinking I should have.  Will have to check out Pink Flamingos.
