Just wondering......How do you get a reduced sentence for good behavior if you're not actually in jail?? Never heard of that one?!

Though a judge sentenced her to 45 days behind bars, Hilton was expected to serve only 23 days because of a state law that requires shorter sentences for good behavior.

wish I had seen the MTV awards.  Apparently she was near tears when sarah silverman joked about her prison stay and then again someone else joked and she could only smile weakly- this from the gospel according to Perez Hilton.

I think they look at the inmate-to-be's previous record.  No previous sentences etc.  At least that's my guess.

I heard on the radio this morning she checked in early for publicity reasons. 

I wonder how long it will take for her mug shot to be flying all over the internet.

Ah, but it won't be HER.  People talking about her I can handle.  Being innundated with photos of her trying to look repentant while buying frozen yogurt I will happily live without.

You know what I find irritating though? Normal people can't have makeup on during their mug shot...yet she's all "done up". They should have made her take all that makeup off and be like a normal person as she's already getting special treatment. Also, why is she allowed to pose? lol

I doubt if that is the real mug shot, they would have made her look straight at the camera. As for the make up, I guess that is what she had on when arrested.
