I am very sorry. I also agree with what Karin said. Friday is so close and while you really want to be with your family, I am sure they understand.

thank you all for your lovely words.  i'm looking forward to going back to the US tomorrow and spending some time with my family.  won't be the most relaxing trip, but we'll be together. 

my grammie passed away last night.  i saw her briefly before she died and was there when they took the ventilator out.  i'm glad that i came home when i did and was able to cry with my sisters.
