And is there a big deli section? With the incredible smoked mozzarella/pasta salad? And the spicy corn fritters??

Just to make you all jealous....I went last night after work!

 :-*

It was great.  I was super impressed with the cheese and if I wasn't leaving on hols in a day, I would have bought loads.  but I don't want to waste all that yummy cheese.

I have to say the prices were not that bad (I shop at Waitrose normally - so maybe view is a little skewed).  I bought three big containers of seeds (pumpkin, sunflower and pine nut) to make a little mixture I bought the other day.  They were each £1.64.  The individual serving I bought the other day....£1.99.  So I think I got a good deal.

I also bought these two-bite brownies that are GORGEOUS!!!

There is a whole food court upstairs.  And the nicest loos in all of Kensington, well the ones open to the public that is.  Definitely worth the trip.  All the freebies were delicious!

stop it stop it ... you're making me want to move back to London!!

There was a Sushi Bar on the top level.  I didn't check what kinds of rice they used.

Deli
1.)  There was a big deli counter with all sorts of meat and coldcuts etc.
2.)  There was also a REALLY big serve yourself-weight based deli area with salads and other foods.  I think there were three big islands.  They looked just like the ones in the Columbus Sq shop in NYC.  The food looked delicious.  I didn't notice a smoked moz and pasta salad, but if I go back I will check.

I don't go over to that side of town all that frequently, but the girls from my office and I have decided to do dinner there soon.  So I can check out specifics and let you know.

Stacey - definitely worth a trip into the city!

I'm very jealous of your WholeFoods dinner! My work colleagues and I used to have lunch there a couple of times a week. Aaaah ... memories!  :)

I've never been to a Whole Foods in my life, but I am strongly tempted now.  How are they on American imports??

Just to make everyone jealous... ;)

I have to say that I didn't see anything I recognized as an American brand, but then to be honest, I didn't shop often at Whole Foods before I left the US.  I was looking for Kiss My Face products and they don't carry any.  That was a disappointment.
