Squash (the drink) in the US?

every time i've tried squash it takes like watered down juice to me. 

it's concentrated, so you make it however strong you like it.
did you make it yourself?  if not, the person who made it probably made it too weak.
I make mine strong! 

mmm, Hawaiian Punch concentrate!! We used to make it so sweet!

I don't like squash. My friends used to use it to mask their nasty tasting water in Kenya. Now I will always associate it with gritty brown water. blech 

I never had squash the drink before I visited the UK for the first time. Dh & I were at his friends house we were having dinner there an I poured myself a full glass of squash. little did I know that I was only supposed to have a small bit of squash & the rest was supposed to be water. thankfully Dh caught my mistake before I drank it full strength. Strawberry sugar free Squash is all I drink these days along with several glasses of normal filtered water.
