Sending your return to London or Austin...

If you send your tax return to London, does it get processed in London or sent on to Austin?

Has anyone noticed a considerable delay (in receiving money back) when sending it to London instead of Austin?

It gets pouched to Austin or Dallas...

I sent my return to Austin since I was told it takes forever to get a return if you go through London. I got mine from Austin in a couple of weeks. Nae bad!

Benefit to Embassy:  It's received on the date they get it, days or even weeks sooner than TX.  If you owe, you may want the assurance that it was indeed received on a particular date.

Does anyone know if a 4868 can go to the Embassy, or does it have to be sent directly to Austin?
