Cucumber soda just sounds absolutely disgusting. :(  Then again, I'm not terribly fond of cucumber to begin with - the taste, that is.  I love the scent!

Edited to add -- Oh no... i just remembered it wasnt cucumber, it was CELERY soda, but it was lovely!

It IS lovely. I worked in a specialty grocers one summer, and we stocked it (I think it was called Dr. Brown's). It tasted like ginger ale, but lighter and cleaner.

ew..

I don't care for cucumbers. I don't even like the smell of them when they are in lotions and stuff from bath and body.  :-X

It's called Cel-Ray and is my husband's favorite soda.  Seriously. :-X

Cucumber, on the other hand, sounds yummy.

I don't care for it. Well, I know you will frown upon this Chary but the only time I had it was in a can from Tesco!   ::)

I'm with you on that. Well, I've never tried Cel-Ray, but I'm not really a celery fan so the cucumber one sounds much nicer to me.

yummers. i'd love to try it.

celery, on the other hand, is much more a savory flavour to me. not so sure i'd like to guzzle celery fizz.

I like celery but can't imagine it as a drink. I love cucmber and sometimes add slices to a jug of cold water so cucumber soda sounds lovely and refreshing.

The idea of a cucumber soda doesn't appeal to me in the least--nor do any of the bath/cosmetic products that are cucumber *scented*--even though I like cucumbers.  OTOH, I always loved the chilled cucumber soup my Mom used to make in the summer--now that truly was refreshing!

I'd have never thought to add cucumber to a drink. As soon as the fresh ones start showing up at the farmers market, I'll have to give this a try.

The pub at my work makes G&Ts (using Hendricks Scottish gin) with slices of cucumber in them.   Beautiful!

I'm not a gin drinker, but I love the look of Hendricks' bottles! Is it good? I always keep gin on hand for others, and I'm contemplating switching from Bombay to Hendricks.
