Thanks AnneR - it's great the way you broke it down. And it is so true that it's about the mind/body connection and becoming more aware of your body. Which happens to be what I'm doing in my pilates training too :)

Also, thanks for the link!  :)

On another note, in the cd he incorporates fitness and more movement into your life, quite subtly, but I really enjoyed a run today, I was actually smiling at the end  :o

I tried it and lost the weight I wanted to, albeit not a huge amount.  I found it a total liberation!  Yes, Cinderella you shall have that pain aux raisins, but only til you're not hungry any more.  It really made me realise that you only actually taste something for the first few mouthfuls and if you stop then, it's actually not that much of a hardship.  The CD made me so energised too.

He's great, I love Paul.  I'm back on WW as I need to really focus on losing weight for health at the moment however when i get to where i want to be i'm gong to be using paul's thinking for maintence. I do well on it, i don't lose but i keep weight off!

Also there is a GREAT book, intuitive eating, which is like paul's 'system'. it's pretty much the same thing. a really good read to get to the emotional issues for those of us who truly have issues with food.

I've been doing this Paul way of eating for a month now and haven't noticed a significant weight loss yet. I am disappointed, needless to say, but i haven't been exercising (cardio wise) much either, only 2 days a week lately on average. So, I have to step that up. On another note, it has become a habit to eat more conciously in general, making it easier to follow and I DO eat far less than I used to, eventually that has to mean weight loss ???

That's how I feel about it. I think once I reach the weight I need to be, I'll try it again. But if you have a significant amount of weight to drop, I don't think it's enough. At least, it wasn't for me.
