Hi,

£258,000 according to http://uk.houseprices.yahoo.net/

obviously, depending on the type of property you go for the pricing could be a whole lot more and probably only a little less than that figure!

Cheers!

the BBC website lists average house prices by authority and district.  This page shows the top 10 most expensive authorities and you can put in a postcode to get more precise district level averages:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/in_depth/uk_house_prices/html/houses.stm

They've got Oxfordshire listed at £272K.  Some authorities are for the whole county such as mine, Buckinghamshire.  Others, such as #1 Windsor and Maidenhead are Unitary Authorities (or separate from the county council or the only authority as is the case with Berkshire which does not have a county council) and the reason why it is so expensive is because it only covers the most expensive eastern part of Berkshire.

I think if South Buckinghamshire was it's own unitary authority it'd given Windsor and Maidenhead a run for its money!
