oh I love pineapple on pizza! I have it all the time here and in the US.  I really don't understand the sweetcorn thing, though, although I've tried it and it's not *that* bad. :P

Our local does a 'kebab' pizza.  It's suprisingly delicious, even if a little weird (lamb donor, chili sauce, spring onions).

The nice thing about pizza is that if you don't like something, you can pick it off.  ;D

How on earth would anybody think tuna with banana and on top of a pizza no less would be a good idea?!  :o

I do like some "unusual" toppings on pizza--courgettes are lovely, broccoli is fab, and garlicky chard with goat cheese is amazing. I'm willing to keep an open mind about sweetcorn, as I haven't tried it yet. But I absolutely draw the line at bananas:o I don't quite see how you could pick slimy cooked bananas off a pizza, and it seems to me that they would infuse the whole thing with banana flavor. Ewwww. Ditto with tuna, which I hate even the smell of.

courgettes, broccolli, spinach, mushrooms--almost any vegetable on a pizza is completely normal and very yummy!

My fav - pineapple with jalepano, pepperoni & onions. Mmmmmm.

Elynor, Goodfellas has a Mediterranian pizza that has zucchini, eggplant, peppers on it, it's frozen but it's pretty good for frozen.

It is at a place just downstairs that is quite popular over here called Dananos. I've never asked them (but should) why that flavour. It really is disgusting. I refuse to try it.

As for pineapple on pizza. I think it makes sense. Eating gammon and pineapple is a big thing here and they both go well together so why not put them on pizza? Dominos is the only place I can remember in the states that also does it.

Now sweetcorn. Ewwww I hate the stuff. Besides not liking it I hate that they call ALL corn sweetcorn. It's not the case.

Jalapenos on anything is great Stella ;)

I like pineapple, but to me, it has to be eaten on its own... I HATE it mixed with anything else, so the thought of putting it on pizza, or with gammon, or on a cake just gives me the boak.

Ledo's Pizza in Maryland does a really nice pizza with pineapple and ham. I was a skeptic, but I tried it and it wasn't too bad. I wouldn't order one myself, but if this was my only choice I'd certainly eat it again.

Ham and Pineapple is a very common pizza topping here and is usually known as 'Hawaiian' (although I'm not sure how 'Hawaiian' it actually is) ::)!!

I'm one of the people who loves pineapple on my pizza - when I lived in the US, I used to order pizza slices with just pineapple on them and nothing else, lol!!

I love pineapple on my pizza. It's really good with jalapenos. Sweet and sour taste. I love that

Speaking of pizza, Maryland pizza is the worst pizza I've ever had. Had it in two places there and besides the bland taste, the fact that it's small brownie size squares made me confused. Many apologies. Being a New Yorker makes me spoiled on pizza

One of our local pizza shops has a shrimp pizza. Sounds different, but really pretty good. Much better than anchovies.

Shrimp pizza could be good. One of the best pizzas I've ever had was smoked salmon & spinach.
