All this talk of mixing things with sodas reminds me of the good old "Suicide" soda. Anyone ever do this as kids? I never did it (the thought grossed me out) but I had lots of friends as kids who would get their soda cups at restaurants and put a little of every kind of soda in their cup. It was usually a weird mish-mash of orange, coke, diet, root beer, dr pepper, and usually hawaiian punch or something similar.

I was one of those kids!  Fanta Orange and Coke was the best.

How about milk and coke?  My two eldest kids drank that all the time when they were young. They moved on to that from milk and ribena.
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

I have honestly never heard of the concept of milk and coke.

I doubt I would enjoy that! [smiley=bleck.gif]

It's a kid's taste. I had never heard of it either. It got the milk into them. They both love milk nowadays. NEAT

Really?  Where I came from, a Black Cow was a dessert you could get at Howard Johnson's (or make at home):  a giant goblet of root beer with scoops of vanilla ice cream put in--basically a root beer float.  Gah, it was yummy...

I was that kid!!

I confess...I still am.  The flavors aren't as good to mix in the UK though! :P

There's an Australian drink that mixes Fosters and Coke.  Can't remember the name, but it's not my favorite - just tastes like watery Coke to me.

I always heard of milk & Coke being called a Brown Cow, but I suppose names like that are regional.  Never tried it, never want to!

wow! never knew anyone else did this or had even heard about it or that it had a name for that matter!

I think Arlo might refer to this as a movement.  ;D

Weird, I thought everyone has heard of it! Maybe it's regional. Where are you from? I'm from the midwest.

Well I've heard of root beer floats and dr. pepper floats (with ice cream of course), but I have never heard of milk being mixed with soda! I've also never heard the term "brown cow" until now either.

This was here. My ex (Scots lass) introduced them to it. This was after they grew tired of milk and Ribena (which is actually drinkable).

No one in my family (southern MS and St Louis area) had ever heard of it.

When we were in Brussels my DH became addicted to Diet Coke Sango, which was Blood Orange Coke.  I wonder if it will be the same?  He'll be excited. :P
