Hi All, I am about to do the application for UK passports for my two michigan-born boys (I am a citizen of the UK).  All seems relatively straightforward enough, but I need to supply my birth certificate to prove my citizenship.  My dilemma.  I need to get two passports--one for each boy.  Do I need to do each application separately, and wait for #1 to come back before sending off #2?  Or can I send in both apps with my certificate?

We are traveling mid-September.  My main concern is that we have plenty of time to get both passports before we take off (though the US passports are going to be way more of a pain, given the government's *stellar* decision to make travel requirements more strict, but not actually provide any more support and resources to make this happen. heh!)

I don't see why you couldn't send both applications together in the same envelope.

You can send them together and they will also ship them both back to you together. It will save you a bit of money on the return fedex bit.

You might just want to put a note to see accompanying application for copy of birth certificate or something along that line.
