I've got to agree with the whole "looking younger" in the movie thing. I'm sure they do that on purpose considering he's supposed to be 15-16 and is now almost 18. Not a huge age discrepancy, but facial hair and manner of dressing can really change one's appearance.

And yes, Alan Rickman really does make Snape into a bit of a ladykiller

Well, and also, he WAS 16 when the movie was filmed.  Kids change so rapidly at that age - he didn't look like he does now six months ago!

And you're totally right. It's weird how fast the body changes in such slight ways (the face, build) to make a person suddenly appear older. I wonder how that will show in the 6th and 7th movies.

See, maybe it's because I'm 26, but I don't think he's physically attractive, but I do like his voice!

I'm the same way. He was sort of striking when he was younger though... But now he just seems too much older than me to think of him as being sexy, etc. His voice rocks though!
