Hate chopping onions...

My mom brought me one of these from the states...its FANTASTIC.
If you can get your hands one one, do!!! They chop onions really uniformly and quickly!!! Even my 93 year old grandmother uses one!!!

I hate it too so I usually just use my food processor.  I LOVE my food processor.  If you get to know me better you will hear me wax lyrical about it

Seriously, this is the best thing ever. Easier to clean and chops onions BETTER than a food processor!!! And uses less energy!!! I made Ratatouille with mine, for my 18 month old and it came out awesome. Nice little anally retentive, Gary Rhodes type squares.

NO NO NO!! Its like a big V and it has a grid of razors(!!) and you put the onion in, slam the thing closed and its all perfect squares! PERFECT SQUARES! HAVE YOU HEARD! PERFECT!!!
 

I have to find that thing; it is beautiful.   Maybe then I will do more cooking. (My husband might just get a break from it!)

I don't think that would work. Contacts dry your eyes out a bit so the tears just aren't there.

About 90% of the time I use my food processor, it is to chop onions. We use a lot of onion, and I HATE chopping them. My husband doesn't mind, however, so if I'm feeling too lazy to get the food processor out, I just have him do it.

I get it now. I was just thinking maybe the sunglasses would act as a barrier to some degree.
