If you haven't watched it yet, you MUST check out Scott Baio Is 45 And Single.  I swear, after five minutes you're completely hooked.

/hijack

Where does that air? I've always thought Scott Baio was a jerk (based on his comments about and objectification of women -- "you can see a beautiful girl walk in, and you know that somewhere, someone is sick of that"). But I do love reality TV, and if it's as addictive as you say, I'd watch!

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Oh, he absolutely is that person.  The show takes a page from High Fidelity in that he's going back to old girlfriends and asking them tell him what's wrong with him.  And they are BRUTALLY honest.  That's where it reaches trainwreck status - watching him squirm while these women tell him what an awful person he is/was.

Hopefully it will air in the UK!

You know those movies where you see a character and you just know he's totally going to stick his foot in his mouth? Where you know that he's going to do something incredibly stupid and you wish you could just reach out and prevent it?

Yeah... it's kinda like that.

It is for the kitsch factor alone.  The first girlfriend he talks to?  Erin Moran!

Seriously, though, I don't know if it'll hold up for an entire run.  If it's a free download, it's worth a gander.

I can't seem to access it as I'm in the UK. Oh well!  :(

I believe you can set up an account if you have a US credit card.  I'm sure others would know for sure...

Guess it's not meant to be. I don't have an American credit card.

Right, well... I downloaded the free pilot, and true to consumerism... I am hooked.
Time to give it its own thread?

How many episodes have aired in the U.S.?

I have to say I watched this last night for a little bit after reading this thread.  It's the one where she had to go to the DMV.  I just couldn't look away.  At the commercial I had to turn off the tv!  She was just how I thought she'd be too.
