Just wanted to say thanx again for everyones warm welcome to the site.
as for  us british women and californian men......... cant speak for anyone else, but having met mine I can honestly say I've known many British men ....... but none that can compare with my Yankee :-)

Hello, I am moving to Surrey in July to work as a social worker.  My daughter and granddaughter will be moving with me.  I Good to know there are Americans already settled in the area.  I was surprised and delighted to find this site.  It is very informative.  

We ar moving from Oklahoma, but have lived all over California, mostly recently San Francisco Bay area.
