We booked the tickets for our trip over. I guess people book ship tickets well in advance because we only had the choice between the most expensive and the cheapest rooms. We, of course, chose the cheapest. We have to have payment in by the end of the week. I hope Mr. C. can get the credit balance cleared so we can pay by them.
Worked out a deal with a friend to care for our cat until we can get him over to the UK with PETS. Contacted the shipping companies, and I have the reputable ones narrowed down to two. Decided against having a lawn sale. Just giving away everything we aren't shipping. What our friends don't want, we will donate to charity.
I am so excited, I don't know how I will make it through the 2 months and change. Good thing is is Mr. C. will be here a while before we go to NYC. I am stressed a bit, but less so than I have been.
It's unbelievable that this is actually coming true. I keep fearing something coming in and messing it up.
