See even those who purport to hate pie - actually do like some sort of pie... It can be a puff pastry chicken pie, a non-berry pie, a tart (still a pie cousin), or something with a graham cracker or other such crust.  Who can say that not even one of these ticks a box for them, huh?  It's all PIE!!!

Ah, but if given the choice of pie (savory or otherwise) or another food, I'll take the other food.  Every time.

OMG... i was thinking about trying to source some really nice peaches for a cobbler too!

Yes!  Cobblers count!  My friends Peach Cobbler came in 2nd place for our PIE party last year!!!  ;D

I'll be doing another Chocolate Truffle pie as DH has insisted I must make another one. Looks like maybe an apple-pear cobbler also. I'll definitely take pics this time and post :D

I haven't really been craving pie lately (I'm also more of a savoury person myself) but I make a wicked peach and raspberry pie and I'm sort of thinking I might tackle that this weekend.... Peaches are looking just about right lately.

For my birthday my mom makes me an apple pie (best apple pie ever - dh will back me up on that) instead of a cake. I try to time our annual trip home around my birthday as often as possible. This year we'll be there for dh's birthday instead, so I'm glad he appreciates tradition.  ;D

It's peach pie (or maybe cobbler) day today, ladies & gentlemen!  I'll post a pick when it's done - if my crust turns out alright (last time it was a bit uneven & lopsided, hee hee).  Will have to have Steve's help with the photo though because I'm not that technologically advanced.

i looked at the peaches in 2 different shops yesterday, and they looked rubbish.  that's my excuse for making potstickers instead of peach pie!

I'm letting hubby cook dinner and lunch today.  I'm ill! :(  So no pie for this chica.  I did make crepes yesterday before I started feeling bad though.  They were yummy! ;D
