I love The Ghost Whisperer, it turned out way better than I thought it would be.

So glad somebody started a thread about this show. I love it. I started watching it after I completely lost interest in "Lost."   At first I thought "Ghost Whisper" was just going to be a rip-off of "The Sixth Sense" but it's turned out to be quite original and entertaining.  And, of course, JLH is hot!  I watch it on ABC1. Unfortunately I'll be back in the US when the 2nd season premieres here.  The 1st season finale was eerie!

apstyle, I thought you were here for good. You're a man, correct? Are you moving back to the States because you can't find work here?

Huh? Who said I was moving back or can't find work?  I'm just going home to the States on holiday. I'm self-employed now. Not exactly loving my current work situation but that's another story..  We'll be back to London in a few weeks.  And yes I'm a dude...one of the few rare male species on UK-Yankee.

I was watching the first series on ABC1 one as well, and since Living is several episodes into the second series, I guess I'll have to wait for the second series to repeat on Living or on More 4 (or E4...I always confuse the two).  :(

I was pleasantly surprised to like this show, as it's the first time JLH does not bug the living cr*p out of me.  I find her character very likeable... and her hubby's not hard on the eyes either - but the stories are quite good.  Sort of fills the 'Afterlife' hole, kinda?

And my old stand-up buddy Aisha was in it... and now my old friend Camryn's in it! :)

I used to do stand-up with Aisha; Camryn I met totally randomly at a (theatre) show and kept in pretty regular contact - she's awesome.

I'm not thrilled that they replaced Aisha with Camryn Manheim. There seems to be no chemistry with JLH and Camryn. Hopefully that will improve as the season goes on and JLH reveals her "secret!"

The second season is a lot darker and scarier than the first! Especially the whole issue surrounding the man in black. Is he Satan? Or Death?
