Baskin's for Rocky Road
Haagen's for BAILEY'S...if you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it. It is like eating Bailey's (the drink)
JuneHawk - Mackies Traditional Ice Cream - I highly recommend it for plain old fashion ice cream. It is hard to beat . It is REAL ice cream from a small Aberdeenshire based company that do 'export' down south. Try that with your root beer for the best float you've ever tasted (well provided you have A&W or Barq's). Or just on it's on.
But a few interesting UK Ice cream facts:
There are over 1,000 in the UK producing tens of thousands of flavours. Despite this fact, vanilla remains the favourite being chosen nine times out of ten.

(not my fact June

)
Flavours you'd never thought of and yet they're commercially available:
(and I think I'll give them a wide berth, very wide)Sorbets: Smoked Salmon, Tomato, Cucumber
Ice Creams: Garlic, Avocado, Sweetcorn
For those with a more exotic taste can experience Durian ice cream (Don't think you can get it here) I have tried this. It's doesn't taste like durian but it is perhaps the rankest ice cream I have ever tasted excepting maybe those above. I love salmon but in ice cream? Phish takes on a different image.
