Wow.  I'm going to have to go back to Lidl.  I thought, apparently stupidly, that it was just a cheap bulk food kinda place.  What am I missing?

If anyone's interested, I saw cartons of sweetened iced tea with lemon at Lidl's this morning. I don't know if they always have it, but I've never noticed it before. I'm not much of an iced tea drinker, so I didn't buy any and am not sure if it's any good. But it's there!

i dont really care much for flavoured tea, but this stuff was actually all right.  The lemon flavour wasn't too cloying.

They always have the iced tea at the one we shop at.  I don't normally like lemon in my iced tea, but Q-G is right that it's not too cloying.  It's very nice on a hot summer day...whenever we get one, that is.  Sometimes they have peach as well.

They also have pancake mix. Has anyone seen it? Is it for UK-style or US-style pancakes? I didn't look too closely. I usually just make my own, so didn't buy it, but for people missing their pre-made mix, it might be an option.

It's crepe-pancakes, sorry.

It's super easy to make pancakes from scratch though.  It only takes a few minutes longer at most.

They do a really nice rye bread mix...just add water & 500 g of mix...I add caraway seed and it ends up tasting like a decent sourdough rye.

Has anyone tried any of the pizzas at Lidl? Any good? What about their canned tuna?
