I miss the orange handsoap they used to sell--loved the scent, but they don't have that one anymore.

it's probably Cien... that seems to be the main brand they sell of all sorts of toiletries.

this stuff starts with an S, and it's the same stuff they sell in Aldi that got rave reviews.

it's working great!  i like RoC, but it's too drying - I've got combination skin.

now, if only they made something that sorted out uneven skin tone . . .

They've got some great Greek food this week, I got as much as I could carry today and might have to go back for more. The Greek yoghurt is heavenly and less than £2 for a 1litre bucket (yes bucket!).

The meatballs are fab - and so are the beans in tomato sauce.  Unfortunately, ours has stopped carrying the Greek stuff.

Siana?  They did the night cream on How to Look Good Naked last week and it came in joint 1st with the £51 Lancome product!

That's from Aldi rather than Lidl.  It is £1.89 and is very good.

For anyone who is watching their weight, Lidl has a very good frozen yoghurt.  It's called Linessa and has less than 3% fat per 100g.  It comes in a 540 gram container and is wildberry flavor.  They had it on sale a couple weeks ago for £1.  I think it is regularly priced at £1.59.  Yummy stuff.

Not in Lidl, but in Aldi... these gorgeous ice creams called  Frosty's pannacotta ice cream wedges.   These were very similar to the 'ice cream tacos' i used to get in California!  Delicious!!

I know, they're amazing!  I don't even bother trying to buy tomatoes in Sainsburys, Tesco, et al.

Last wek when I was at Lidl picking out some of those yummy tomatoes, there were two old guys standing there moaning about how rubbish they were. I couldn't believe it!

hey, is it just our Lidl or have they stopped doing those big cartons of iced tea?

Our local Lidl's is in Victoria Road, RH6 7AB Surrey. I've been there about 8 times, and overall I'm not too terribly impressed. The best thing about it that I have found is being able to find grape juice (now you can get it at Sainsburys) and certain spices other supermarkets around here don't have.

A couple of friends of mine are Lidl's devotees, and love our local one. But other than buying those chocolate covered, marshmallow-filled half domes resting on a wafer, I just don't find much of interest.

Just like other supermarkets which vary in quality, who here has visited multiple Lidls? Was there a vast difference between shops? Where are the most loved Lidl's located?
