Courtney, isn't there one on Uxbridge Road? As you're going toward Ealing from Southall - on the right hand side in the same little complex as a Pound Saver or something like that? Hmmm. I might have to go by one day after work to investigate!

I don't know. I don't get out that way very often. Let me know if you find it though.

I went to Aldi today and scored a load of bargains too. Including some Toppy peanut butter.  ;D

My best Lidl find was Nürnberger rostbratwurst!   Last week when i was in Germany i ate them and immediately thought they were just like the small American-style breakfast sausages... sort of Jimmy Dean-ish.  If you've been missing something like that, you should try these!

Oooo, I just bought bratwurst & frankfurters.  Didn't see this stuff, but I didn't spend TOO long in the sausage section (saw the bacon-wrapped ones, though...sorry, those just look disgusting), but I will definitely look next time.  I miss my breakfast sausage!! (we resort to McDonald's when the craving gets really bad :P)

our local chippy used to do the bacon-wrapped, cheese-stuffed ones, and they were nice!  :)

Just went back for the second time this weekend, to pick up more 14p corn.  And they have now reduced avocadoes to 17p!

I went for the first time today to get some nürnberger sausages (thanks Q-G for the tip!).
I have never seen meat available in so many ways... jars, cans, even meat salad!
We bought the exact same brand of nürnberger sausages I used to buy in the store in Germany.

I know. My bf likes meat salad. Think chicken salad or tuna salad ... but with meat (though I have yet to identify the species).  [smiley=bleck.gif]

One of the nice things about being vegetarian is having a handy excuse not to try things you can't identify.  ;D

Oh, gawd, I'd never actually taste it!! I just mean that I haven't been able to identify it by looking at it!

Shocker, i think i'm the only person who hates LIDL...the one near me might be a bad example but it's simply awful...nothing against polish people whatsoever but everything in my LIDL seems to be made in Poland - the potato croquettes were bizarre!

Just had the email notification of next week's specials.  Hard-core sausage fans might like to try this one:

LOL, sorry...
