I've been waiting for it ever since Cannes!
It's released on 5 Oct, i believe...

What a crap situation! It is on a very limited release this weekend and we are away at a family wedding. So now I won't get to see it. So annoyed.  >:(

I just did a search and there are 2 cinemas in Edinburgh and 2 in Glasgow that are showing it that I could find.  I was wanting to have a date night out with DH and take him to it for a surprise.

It's being repeated tonight at 9pm, according to the Radio Times!

thanks for that.  we managed to get it recorded, but haven't had time to sit and watch it uninterrupted yet.

So pleased that the film now has a wider release. I am going to the matinee showing tomorrow to celebrate after an exam! Yay!

It's a good film.

Samantha Morton does a good turn, as does newcomer Sam Riley.

It really gives you a sense of England in the 70s. The cinematography is beautifully bleak and light at the same time.

Saw this last night.  Brilliant.  So moving, and so well acted.  It felt more like a documentary than a biopic.  Sam Riley was spellbinding.

I just did a quick search and they have it listed through the 18th at all the cinemas.  I don't know it that is as far in advance as s1 shows listings.  They also added Aberdeen today, so maybe there will be more cinemas showing it soon.  Here's hoping.

I've been waiting for this to come to town, but it's looking pretty doubtful.  I don't think I'll have the patience to wait for the DVD! >:(
