My all time favorite are plain with french onion dip. In Maryland we have a brand called Helluva Good which I love.

;D  Its definitely a Maryland thing!

Thai Sweet Chili crisps are about the only flavored one's that I like here.  :) The thought of chicken, shrimp or beef flavored freaks me out.  :o Just my opinion of course.

Modified to say, my mother makes a great french onion dip (since I was a kid) for every family occasion!  ;)

In the US, my favorite were Art & Mary's Hot Chips!

We had those in Rhode Island!

I also love Tyrrell's veggie crisps, especially the parsnip ones. They're fabulous!

Where can you buy them?

I'm not sure if they sell them in supermarkets, but I bought some yesterday at a greengrocers. And I know a couple of local delis sell them too.

Jules, Waitrose should have them as well as that little deli in Reading town centre - do you know the one I mean? I don't think Tyrrell's sell in any supermarket other than Waitrose.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Balmerhon, yes I do think I know the deli you are talking about, its called "Country Delicacies". I will have a look the next time I am in town. If not, I will check in our local Waitrose. Thanks!

I LOVE the Dill Pickle flavour.  Sounds weird I know, but every person I've given them to loved them.

I'm really missing Lay's Dill Pickle flavour potato chips about now... :\\\'(

I lurve Walker's Pickled Onion crisps.  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

There's a new Mexican Chili flavour by McCoy's (I think?) which I quite liked.

I also really like the new Pringles with the rice in them.  I've tried both the Salt & Vinegar (my fav) and the Sour Cream & Onion (kiddos fav).
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Kettle Chips also just started a Mexican Chili one but we didn't like it that much.

I'm a purist with crisps - I only really like them salted though I do like vegetable crisps of all sorts. If they have to be flavoured I don't mind Kettle's Mango Chilli ones and I like the Thai Chili and the lime somethingorother (Walkers Sensations).

We had them in upstate NY too!

Is it a real recipe, that is, not involving packety things? If so, would it be possible to get it? Please pretty please? ;)

Veggie crisps are awesome. M&S does some nice ones, including parsnip, yum!

See, the thing is, Brits (well, the ones I know anyway) will dip their flavored chips in a flavored dip.  Drives me nuts!!!

yes!! nachos are about the simplest fail proof food Brits can make... unless they use flavoured tortilla chips. Gross. It takes away from the simple nacho yumminess.

I'd love to have a list of people's favourite flavours so I would know which ones to try out, because I'm weird like that.

My favourite favours are:

Pickled Onion (Walker's)
Dill Pickle (Old Dutch)
Ketchup (Old Dutch)

Which flavours should I go out of my way to try?
