I can't believe this thread has been so quiet! Anyone watch over the weekend? That little Japanese Tush-Tush or whatever her name was was SO cute! I mean her audition was a joke but she was very cute!
14 year old Vivian broke my heart. I do think she was good enough to get through but she was so very young and I think that's what the judges problem was with her. I hope she comes back next year.
The Puff the Magic Dragon guy and his wife. OMG!!!  :o

I loved Vivian! But, I agree, she was way too young. I don't really like that they've lowered the age this year, to be honest. There aren't many 14-year-olds I'd want to hear sing!

Those two couples at the end? The ones who called themselves "a modern day ABBA"??! God, they were awful!

I think it was a mistake to lower it to 14. In my opinion,. at that age they really aren't ready to hear criticism like that, especially if singing is their dream

Judging by how Vivan reacted, I think you're right. If they'd put her through, I don't think it would be have been good for her either.

You aren't kidding!  And the way they kept saying over and over "We're better than that" ::) I was, however, amused at Simon and Edna, Part Deux; I got a good chuckle out of him offering her one of his fries and then she helped herself to more lol.  If nothing else, that lady has moxie.

There was a lady on last week; she was wearing a gold evening gown dress and she likened herself to Whitney and sang I Will Always Love You.  She was awful, but what really made me want to smack her was after her audition I had DD go on for the rest of the show shrieking "iiiiiiiiii-eee-iiiiii-eeeeee-iiiiii" [smiley=dizzy2.gif]

I'm definitely starting to get into it more now. I am quite glad Louis is back.

Wasn't that "date with Danni" quite silly; it was funny when I saw news stories about it online, as if it wasn't staged!

I've been kind of watching but it's just been the same old same old so far, I feel like I've seen most of the people before! I did feel sorry for the pregnant toothless girl though!

I agree. (Not so much about toothless and pregnant lady though)

But that woman, Angela I think her name was.  She had me in tears.  Her voice was amazing and her story about losing her husband last year.

I'm excited for when they start the actual competition.

I don't think they'll ever top that freak last year who threw the water over Louis Walsh, although they did come close with that woman with the bug eyes a couple of weeks ago with the very bad attitude.

I know its wrong, but with her, its too distracting, you cant not look at her teeth when shes singing, its sickening.

I think they should ban people from telling their personal stories like that. it totally influences the votes and its unfair. LIke if a person has a voice thats nothing special, they heard the voice before, better people then her didnt get through, but then tells a story about how her dead husband always told her she was a brilliant singer and how she should audtion etc etc. at that point the judges cant say no, or else it would be bad publicity for them.
