I think they should ban people from telling their personal stories like that. it totally influences the votes and its unfair. LIke if a person has a voice thats nothing special, they heard the voice before, better people then her didnt get through, but then tells a story about how her dead husband always told her she was a brilliant singer and how she should audtion etc etc. at that point the judges cant say no, or else it would be bad publicity for them.

I don't know if that's quite what happens but I have noticed the only sob stories you hear are the people who get through. I am sure there are people who don't get through who also have sad stories, they just don't show them on TV.

I know its wrong, but with her, its too distracting, you cant not look at her teeth when shes singing, its sickening.

Hmm, Well despite her husband passing away, she had an absolutly stunning voice.

Agreed

The only one I can remember who brought her kid in was the one who said she'd left a violent relationship. Is that the one? She was quite good I thought.

Me too, she was fantastic.

I think it's important to remember that although this is a REAL show it is staged quite a bit (A lot really)  Plus do you see how they set some people up to be fantastic and when they sing they are horrible.  It's all part of the show.

Exactly.  Any time they are interviewing a guy who likens himself to be the next Robblie Williams or a girl who compares herself to Christina Aguilera or Whitney Houston, you just know that they are going to SUCK!

Did anyone see the older couple who met while waiting to audition?  I think the woman was in her eighties and the man was in his sixties.  They were really cute.

I know, the fact that they really think they are though, scares me!  I blame their friends and family!

How cute were they!  I was so glad they went through, even though they probably will not make it to the finals ;)

I wonder how many of the horrible singers are really only auditioning as a bet with their friends.

I have a bad feeling it's not many.  Some you know for sure they are there for a bet.  But then there are the ones that just look horrified that they got a no.

So did I!  I was so pissed off they didn't go through.  What is Simon thinking?  And what is Danni thinking?  I want to kick that guy in the bollocks so badly (I can't even say his name he is so pompous and Arrrghhhh)
