I think this week's episode has been pre-empted for the Rugby World Cup England v. France match. I'm assuming that's why they aired 2 shows in one night a couple of weeks ago and they did say at the end of last week's episodes that the live finals will begin on October 20th, not the 13th.

Dh & I watched it I wasn't happy that Kimberly was the first one to go I really liked her. I like Liam but thought he didn't as good as job as her.  >:(  [smiley=shout.gif]  I knew she wasn't going to win but I wanted to see her in a few more shows before she left. I really enjoyed Nikki, Beverly, Same Difference, Andy, Daniel, even though I don't really care for Rhydian I thought he did a good job last night.  ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

Ridian is going to drive the competition.  He'll make it interesting - but my God is he intolerable.

Absolutely.

I'm not sure of most of their names yet, but some of them were pretty horrendous this week. Honestly, any one of about 5 or 6 of them really deserved to get the boot. Of the bottom two, I thought Kimberly was the better one, but that's not saying much.

OK. I really, really like Brian Friedman, but it's almost as if they're trying to find him a job. Do so many of these songs need to be turned into cheesy dance numbers? It's tough enough for them to sing in front of a big audience for the first time without having to do it while jumping about as well. A lot of them seemed to have problems with their breathing, an understandably so.

Yeah, my husband said that Brian is making the performances worse. I agree that it is better to start them off with a more simple routine. I think that bad song choices/dance routines caused Kimberly and Aleisha to be in the bottom two. Niki was definitely my favourite; she seemed very sincere. I hope that Beverly gets a better song next week because I quite like her!

I wasn't a big fan of Kimberley - I actually wasn't really bothered about which one of them got the boot. The other girl I suppose has sort of a Mary J Blige thing going on. Not my thing, but I can see where she might get better....

Ridian is... growing on me in a very weird way. I never thought I would say that. He reminds me of Nigel Kennedy in a way - classical but with an edge.

Same Difference SCARE ME. Honestly they properly freak me out.

Seriously. They're so scary I can't actually believe they're real. They're like something out of a Christopher Guest movie.

Add me to that list as well.  Rhydian still annoys the hell out of me.  He does have a fantastic voice, but the wole rest of the package just leaves be sitting there thinking WTF?  And whoever did his hair should be fired IMO.

I adored Nikki's performance.  I really hope she makes it far. I like Beverly as well.  I thought Kimberly did pretty well, but wasn't surprised she was in the bottom two though.

Maybe I'm way off, but I almost got a sense that Mrs O was a wee bit drunk or something.  Some of her comments seemed a bit out there, and then there was the whole thing at the end about leaving the show.  Although, knowing the X Factor, perhaps it was all contrived for ratings like Louis quitting the show for a whole week a year or two back when the Conway Sisters were on lol.

I've not watched any of it but now I'm feeling like I have to watch just to see the scary people.
