I'd like to put Rachael Ray in a microwave for 30 minutes.   :P

They take 30 minutes to COOK, but way more to actually PREPARE! I make a pasta dish with cheese, pesto, and sauce I saw her do on her show once and it's divine! Kind of like inside out stuffed shells. I have her vegetarian cookbook (not 30 minutes) and the recipes in there are really good. I love the recipes she shows, but she's so freaking annoying.

Who taught you to use EVOO, Rachel, or to put nutmeg in your greens??? Was it your Grandpa Emmanuel???

I know more about her family history than I do my own!

PIMP!!!! ;D

She is annoying, I agree.  I managed to swipe my mom's 30 minute meals comfort food edition when I was home and there are about 4 or 5 recipes in there that we really enjoy.  Not bad, I usually find only 1 or 2 in most cookbooks!

They take 30 minutes to cook if you have staff of 20 prep people to do everything for you. I got her magazine and I like to watch her show when I am in the states...but she is a bit too goody goody for me.

I like to imagine her in some dominatrix type clothes. Makes me feel better.

She has to be on EVERYDAY at 6pm. My stepdad LOVES her lol  ::)............racheeeee maybe that's what my step dad does!!  [smiley=laugh4.gif] [smiley=laugh4.gif] [smiley=laugh4.gif]

I can only take her in small doses otherwise I go NUTS.

My mom has made a few things that she's made and they are actually dueable (allthough they don't take 30 mins) and taste great...unlike Martha's stuff

She is actually marketing to the kindergarten or five-year-old age bracket.  Not sure where I learned that useless bit of information, but does explain her annoying ways...

It must be true because my six year old will watch her over cartoons!  ???

Everytime she says EVOO my skin crawls. She even has her own morning show now.  :-X

I like her 30 min meals but there is such a thing as too much of a good thing and when I was in  Canada, I could only take about 2 minutes of her talk show before feeling nauseous.  She is so much about "Aren't I great?  Don't I know how to teach you stupid people how to cook.  yummm-o"  Gag.

She actually has two words in the dictionary now EVOO and yummo.  Double Gag!

I feel like I need to qualify - this was not meant to be an I love Rachel Ray post!  I too can only take her in small doses...but her recipes - from the book, not the ones on TV that I have to listen to her speak for! - have surprised me!

OMG - whenever my brother tries to change the channel, my 3 year old nephew says That's mommy's favorite show!  [smiley=laugh4.gif] [smiley=laugh4.gif]
