i have a kitchenaid stand mixer and a magimix food processor that i purchased in the UK. i was told that they would work in the US as long as i changed the plug and plugged them into a 220 plug, which most US kitchens have. as we are moving back, i wanted to check before shipping. sounds too good to be true. perhaps paul can lend some advice?
