I looooooove Marco Pierre White as a chef, and only hope he translates well as head of Hell's Kitchen.

(To be honest, I can tolerate Gordon Ramsay, but have never been a member of the fan club.)

It was funny when he wouldn't serve people who complained.  Especially when that one guy came to the kitchen to confront Marco.  I like him a lot better than Gordon Ramsay!

He's so much scarier and more intimidating than Gordon Ramsay ... but he manages to do it without swearing.

What did you think of the celebs? I really like Paul Young and Rosie Boycott, so I hope they do well. After I got over the look of Kelly LeBrock's lips, I think she might be OK. I'm quite amazed that Lee Ryan seemed to know a lot about foie gras! That was slightly impressive ... for a boy band-er. I'd never heard of Brian Dowling or Jim Davidson before, but they both need to go. Soon.

I actually don't know any of the celebs, so I can't really say.  I hope the girls win though!

Isn't brian ex-BB?
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I just looked him up and you're right - but it was before I moved over, so I never saw him on BB.

How funny was it when people complained about his food and he threw them out of the restaurant? Or the lady that made a remark about his ex-wife and he told her table he wasnt serving them anymore...

Then the other lady was scared to complain about her undercooked scallops because she saw him throw all those other people out so she whispered it to the camera... hahaa.. i couldnt believe it!  :)

I loved that!! To his credit, that man was complaining because a starter of cold asparagus was too cold. Yeah, thanks for that.

Didn't someone else leave a comment that the scallops were too "dead" (or something like that?)?

Whew!! What an interview!! He is a bit, ummmm, touchy - isn't he?!

Didn't someone else leave a comment that the scallops were too "dead" (or something like that?)?

They were 'dull and lifeless' was the comment to which he replied along the lines of 'well, they are dead!'
