I think there was a post about this a while back and If I remember correctly it's closed down.

Mmmmmm Dunkin Donuts...  Their Chocolate Glazed Cake Donuts & Vanilla (or Chocolate) Kreme Filled Donuts are the best donuts evah!  And so bad for me too!  Good thing I can't get them here!

I love Dunkin Donuts. Much better than Krispy Kreme!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

And you gotta love - Dunkin Donuts & Baskin Robbins under one roof!  A match made in heaven!  Heck, that was an evening's entertainment when I lived in Tampa -- the Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins run with the gang...you've got your cup of ice cream, your box of donuts, what else do you need?!?!

Is it any wonder I weighed a ton when I lived in the US?! [smiley=laugh4.gif]

Okay, I see the thread and think of Homer Simpson, "Mmmm, donuts."

I've always preferred Krispy Kreme doughnuts, although I don't think they have a branch here other than in Harrod's in London.

And the memories...  Mmmmm donuts!  In my Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins heyday, I was dating a really skinny & neurotic guy (he's still my best friend!) who had to eat his donuts a certain way.  We had just started going out & I didn't know this yet.  He loved those Vanilla Kreme Filled ones, but he would scrape the extra little dollop of vanilla kreme off & set it to the side of the plate - saving it for last.  The first time we were having donuts, I thought that meant he wasn't going to eat it -- that little dollop of vanilla kreme.  So while he was in the midst of slowly savoring his donut, I swiped his little dollop of vanilla kreme off the plate with one finger, popped it into my mouth & it was gone.  I thought he was going to kill me - there was murder in his eyes!  (But he didn't & like I said we are still best friends.) :)

That probably makes me HIS bad date story!  LOL! :D

That reminds me of Joey and the french fries episode, he never likes to share his food.  Hmm, I am making tv references here, guess I should get out more.  :-\\\\  I haven't had a donut in such a long time, I don't know which I would prefer, although if there was such a thing as diet donuts I might opt for that, don't believe it has been thought of though, that could be my next great idea and I could be rich.   [smiley=greedy.gif]

I love krispy kremes as well.  Once I made a bread pudding using them (a Paula Deen recipe).  So good, but too rich.

I bet that was a great recipe, Yael, despite the richness. (For those of you who haven't had a Krispy Kreme doughnut, they're so good that they practically melt in your mouth.)

Last time I was at Victoria station, I managed to walk by, and NOT get any. Mmmm, I could use one or three now though.
