Smacks of blackmail...

At the risk of sounding like a Daily Mail reader - missing one test is careless.  Missing two tests might be forgiveable.  But missing three tests and then not even being remorseful or truly understanding how people might be upset by it...so what if she "won" gold in the World Championships.  She has an Olympic ban based on her own behaviour

What good are rules and repercussions, if they are ignored?

Personally, I'd rather Britain win a completely clean Bronze in the Olympics than a tainted Gold.

Thoughts?

I'm loathe to condemn the girl, and I am sure that she has not used drugs...but she must be monumentally stupid.  You'd have thought that after one missed test she would be more rigourous about informing the authorities of her whereabouts.
