'Till I got fed up of the 50(A) line bus & try to limit my bus riding exclusively (whenever possible) to the 97(A) line. :)

Ah, that's what happened to you. I was wondering. I thought you maybe convinced Steve that you didn't need to work anymore and he let you stay home. :)  I was jealous.

Well I'm working on that...  Hee hee!  I only work 3 days a week now (21 hours part-time), which is good cos I've become the construction project manager at home.  Today, I've got window installers and the plumber round.  Next month, roofing...

In other bad news, there will be more plumbing to come and oh - maybe a kitchen redo in the foreseeable future.  Sounds great, but don't ask... :-\\\\

Just keep thinking of how gorgeous it will all look when it's finished.  That was my family's trick!

Hooray for Yorkshire - the Texas of England??!!!

How is that--size? agriculture? accent?  :)

Mindset.  Everything is bigger and, obviously, better, in Yorkshire.  Such as:

(You may have to copy & paste the link into another browser window to get it to work.  I can't get it to work simply by clicking on it.)

It's Britain's largest county...nevermind it's actually four counties (North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire & East Riding) -- all Yorkshire nevertheless.

Clearly, not Texas - there can be only one & thank goodness for that!  But still, sort of an English version of Texas.
