Yes, I saw this today on the news! My first thought was "oh no, we will have moved back to the US and not had the chance to see them".

I am hoping that they decide to continue and come to the US!  :)

I'd do anything to see that. I've been a Zephead since I was about 12 or 13.

YEA! I am truly Dazed and Confused.

Still gonna have a Bonham in the line up too.

Bummer it is limited to 2 per household, that is assuming ... I can find the site to register. That seems to be a rogue address in the article.

Anyone register yet?

I had tickets for the 1977 show in New Orleans and that tour was tragically ended.
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

it's a trinute show--it's not just a zep gig.

nme's got a link to the site you have to register on.

£150 is a bit rich for my blood, man. but it's gonna kill me not to be there.

i saw plant open for what's left of the who a few years ago, and his voice is still in great shape.

i reckon they'll use this tribute show as a feeler & then launch a wider tour next summer.
it's not where you're born, it's where you belong

John Bonham was, in my opinion (I hate using the stupid internet acronyms) the best drummer ever. I hope his son lives up to his father's reputation.

Thanks for the link Niku2-the site must have crashed due to high traffic.  Wonder why?   ;)
It would be so cool to see them live-the closest I have been is watching 'The Song Remains The Same' at the movies as a drunken teenager.

Hants, I did the same thing. It would be so cool to see them live-the closest I have been is watching 'The Song Remains The Same' at the movies as a drunken teenager.

I've seen that as a "midnight movie" several times, in addition to owning the vinyl version of it. They had a concert scheduled in a football arena in Maryland (where I lived) as part of an American tour they canceled after John Bonham's death. One of my brothers had a friend at Ticketmaster who guaranteed that he could get us second row tickets to that concert. But I guess it wasn't meant to be.

You know it's all right,
I said it's all right,
I guess it's all in my heart...
You'll be my only,
My one and only,
Is that the way it should start?

(And I didn't need to do a Google search for those lyrics. I know them by heart.)

I rarely post, but I saw this and couldn't help myself.  :P

I've been a Zeppelin fan for years, and when I heard the news (well, read it via Yahoo), I was absolutely over the moon. While the cost of tickets makes me cringe a little, I can't imagine missing this show for anything!

Suzanne, I certainly agree with you. It'd be awfully difficult to live up to his dad's reputation.

This will be one hell of a show (and that's putting it mildly)!  ;D

I don't know what it is, but I find Robert Plant just so beyond sexy it's not true. :-[
