What food can you NOT resist gorging/overindulging on????????????
« on: September 12, 2007, 08:27:22 PM »
I normally pride myself on portion control but as I discovered, YET AGAIN, tonight....

I have no control when it comes to homemade chocolate cake with white frosting and ice cream..... ::)  In fact, I offered to do the washing up simply so that I could shave off slivers of cake throughout the washing process... :P  Is it my true weakness. Fudge? Nope. Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting? Nope. But the above can make me feel like i'm in the throes of pregnancy binging....and without any baby for an excuse..

Is there one food that makes you throw caution to the wind?

Yeah, probably cheese and bread for me, too. But not just a loaf of Hovis white - I mean a baguette with really good cheese.

I'm also pretty bad with plain potato chips and french onion dip. Fortunately, much harder to come by round here!

Hopster, I found a FAB chocolate cake recipe that I make a white frosting for. I usually add lemon or vanilla too it though. To DIE for!!!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Great minds think alike. Scalloped potatoes are on my last meal!

Cheesecake.  If I could live on cheesecake, I would.  Or any of my parents' homemade desserts (bread pudding, pineapple upside down cake, rice pudding).
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

Good ol' fashioned fresh bread & butter will screw up my healthy eating habits every time. If it's in the house, watch out, cause ain't no one else gettin' any!

Me too, but it's Kraft Mac&Cheese for me. I love it!

Fresh tiger bread from Sainsbury's, also.  With soft cheese.

Garlic breadsticks.  I had eight homemade ones (I love my husband!) for my birthday dinner last week  ;D

Pineapple upside down cake! Yum, I found a recipe and made it a couple of months ago, it was just like mom used to make! That's the business ;)
