OH, the troubles of travelling
« on: September 14, 2007, 05:15:14 PM »
Holiday, Holiday, Holiday

Well, I'm going to Spain at the begining of November. We booked an all inclusive holiday from Last Minute. It wasn't until after we paid for it, that the welcome letter came into our email with details ab[out the trip. ONe saying "Please make sure you have a full british passport"

!*&?%$#

My passport is still American, and I still haven't decided weather or not I'm going to have it changed. I'm on a 2 year visa at the moment anyways!

Anyone think this is going to be a headache?

Probably not.  I think they probably stuck that on there to just cover their own butts in case you were from some non-EU country that Spain generally doesn't let in (something middle Asian or African, I have no idea what Spain's visa requirements are for non-EU countries).  Don't worry about it, since you can obviously enter Spain on your American passport as a visitor!  I just came back from there, actually.  The border guards couldn't give a toss, as long as you fill in their little white form and show a valid passport.
